TEA CANDLE HOLDER

These stitch is full of simple stitches like single crochet, double crochet, chain. Below you will find a detailed illustrated tutorial with step by step instruction and basic picture and video to those who learn better from watching how to stitch is crocheted. 


This stitch has a nice textured and feel. From this point we will start our tutorial.

MODE:

EASY / Beginner friendly

MATERIAL:

  • 3.5 mm hook.
  • DK yarn (chose your favorite color).
  • Scissor.
  • Crochet needle.

ABBREVIATION:

  • CH - chain
  • DC - double crochet
  • SC - single crochet
  • RPT - repeat
  • SP ST - split stitch
  • SKP - skip
  • beg - begin
  • SP - space

SIZE:

diameter - 6 inches 

GAUGE: 

 is not important for this project

INSTRUCTION:

  • Begin with split knot
  • CH 5, Join CH 5 with CH 1 with the help of split knot.
ROUND 1: 
  • CH 3 (indicate as DC) + CH 1
  • *1 DC, CH 1* RPT 8 times
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
ROUND 2:
  • CH 3(    indicate as DC) + CH 2
  • *1 DC, CH 2* RPT 8 times
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
ROUND 3:
  • CH 1 
  • *3 SC in each CH 2 space* RPT all over 
  • SP ST to top beg CH 1.
ROUND 4:
  • CH 3 (indicate as DC), 
  • 1 DC in each SC stitches.

Add caption
  
NOTE: only on front loop as shown in picture above.
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
ROUND 5:
  • SP ST in every DC stitches.
FASTEN OFF.

CANDLE HOLDER BODY:

NOTE: Insert yarn in round 4 back loop to beg stitches. Follow picture below



ROUND 1:
  • CH 3 ( indicate as DC), 
  • *1 DC on each DC of round 4 back loop* RPT all over
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
                             

ROUND 2:
  • CH 3, 
  • 1 SC in third DC from CH 3
  • *CH 3, 1 SC (on third DC )* RPT all over (as shown in picture below)
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
                             

ROUND 3:
  • CH 3(indicate as DC)
  • 1 DC (on CH 3 SP), CH 5 
  • DC 2tog (on same CH 3 SP and next CH 3 SP)
  • *CH 5, DC 2tog (on same SP and next SP)* RPT all over (as shown in picture below)
  • SP ST top beg CH3.


ROUND 4:
  • CH 3 (indicate as DC) + CH 5 , 1 DC (on CH 5 SP)
  • *CH 5 , 1 DC (CH 5 SP)* RPT all over
  • SP ST top beg CH 3.

ROUND 5:
NOTE: SP ST to reach CH 5 space.
  • CH 3(indicate as DC), 1 DC, CH 4, 2DC (on CH 5 SP)
  • *CH 1,
  • 2 DC, CH 4, 2 DC* RPT all over
  • SP ST top beg CH 3.
ROUND 6: 
NOTE: 2 SP ST to reach CH 4 space.
  • CH 3(indicate as DC) , 3 DC CH 2, 4 DC (on CH 4 space)
  • 1 SC (on CH 1 space)
  • *4 DC, CH 2, 4 DC (CH 4 SP), 1 SC (CH 1 SP)* RPT all over
  • SP ST top beg CH 3.
ROUND 7:
NOTE: 5 SP ST to reach CH 2 SP
  • *1 SC, CH 10 (on CH 2 SP)* RPT all over
  • SP ST to top beg SC
ROUND 8:
NOTE: 1 SP ST to reach CH 10 SP.
  • CH 3 (indicate as DC), 1 DC, 5 DC, CH 5, 5 DC, DC 2 tog (CH 10 SP),
  • *DC 2 tog, 5 DC, CH 5, 5 DC, DC 2 tog (CH 10 SP)* RPT all over 
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3.
ROUND 9:
  • CH 3( indicate as DC) 1 DC tog, 1 DC (on each DC below), 
  • 3 DC, CH 5 3 DC (on CH 5 SP), 1 DC (on each DC below), at last DC 2tog. 
  • *DC 2 tog, 1 DC (each DC below) , 3 DC, CH 5, 3 DC, 1 DC (EACH 5 DC below), last DC 2 tog* RPT all over
  • SP ST to top beg CH 3

  • fasten off
  • sew excess yarns.
